Gary Rechtfertig is the owner of Doulos Training in Dallas–Fort Worth. He brings 30-plus years of experience as a minister and 30-plus years of counseling and coaching experience to his work with people. He earned a bachelor’s degree, followed by a master’s degree, and has spent more than 16 years teaching emotional intelligence.
His background also includes more than 35 years in project management, along with executive consulting and higher education. That experience brings a practical understanding of people, priorities, accountability and follow-through to his coaching.

Professional coaching includes career growth, executive presence, decision-making, accountability and follow-through. Emotional-intelligence coaching has two tracks: faith-based and business and professional.
The faith-based track makes faith and values an explicit part of the conversation. The business and professional track focuses on workplace communication, relationships, leadership and personal challenges in professional life.
Doulos offers a dedicated faith-based option and a distinct business and professional emotional-intelligence track. Share the context you want for your coaching during the discovery call.
The 30-minute introductory conversation provides time to explain what you would like to work on, ask questions and explore whether continuing with Gary could fit your goals. Ongoing coaching is arranged separately.
Thirty-minute sessions are focused, tactical and action-oriented. Sixty-minute sessions allow more time for deeper discussion and development. Sixty minutes is Gary’s most popular session length; the right choice depends on what you want to explore.
Weekly coaching is available for one, three or six months, with four, twelve or twenty-six meetings respectively. Biweekly programs are available for three or six months. Both options offer 30- or 60-minute sessions. Confirm the specific schedule with Gary before starting.
No. You can begin with a question, a decision or a personal challenge. The discovery conversation is a place to explore which coaching focus may fit.
Coaching centers on your individual goals and the situations you bring to the conversation. A training course follows its own learning content and enrollment arrangements. Requesting coaching does not enroll you in a course.
